WHY IS IT WORTH IT?
A common cause of EGR problems (both the valve itself and its radiator) is the high water content of diesel fuel. Well, over time this element can become coated with a specific substance, even a smear, which is the result of combustion. This results in the jamming of throttle in the valve and its incorrect operation. In the consequence of this factor, the life of the engine decreases and also the tractor user is forced to make more frequent visits to the service centre to rectify the fault.
It is also possible to switch off the already completely broken exhaust gas recirculation system. It is a sensible choice between an ineffective cleaning or an expensive replacement with a new EGR valve, which does not guarantee that the fault will not return again after a certain time.
