NEW HOLLAND T5 T5.110 3.6L - Comprehensive software modification and deletion of SCR, DPF and EGR system faults

We visited a client in Września County in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. The New Holland T5 tractor was suffering from issues with the emission control systems (AdBlue, DPF, EGR) and a lack of adequate power, which triggered troublesome limp modes and forced the operator to downshift frequently under heavy load. On site, we carried out efficient diagnostics, complete deactivation of the problematic systems and a software modification in the BOSCH MD1CS069 ECU. The problem with faults and performance deficits was permanently eliminated, and the machine gained new dynamics, significantly shortening the time needed to complete daily tasks.

How does Chiptuning and deactivation of SCR, DPF and EGR systems in New Holland T5 work?

We start the work by connecting diagnostic equipment and reading the active fault codes stored in the BOSCH MD1CS069 ECU. Next, we read the factory software, based on which we prepare an individual modification that removes the AdBlue, DPF and EGR operating procedures and implements new fuel maps and Chiptuning dosing maps. We upload the prepared file using a programmer directly into the engine control unit. In the next step, we perform the necessary physical operations, which means removing the DPF filter core and installing a service filter, disconnecting the dosing pump and AdBlue sensors, as well as blanking off the EGR valve. Before starting the procedures and after uploading the new program, we perform a power measurement on a PTO dynamometer to verify the parameter gains. We check the correct operation of all systems and the absence of active fault codes in the ECU memory.
